So I started working with a family about a month ago and it's an infant and I work full time. I work 50 hours each week not including overtime but a salary at the end of the month that is 1400. I feel as if I'm getting ripped off because I am getting no benefits but I should also be getting paid at least 705 a week but I'm getting paid 350. Any opinions?

That depends, are you living there or do you have your own place? Well here the thing, you've only been there for a month. If you say something now they could argue that you were fine with it a month ago. If you leave, you be out of a job and it could be a while before you get another one. Not to sound mean but u are replaceable. You said it was an infant. What that tells me is they want someone who is going to connect and bond with the baby and be there for a while. What i would do(Unless im unable to pay my basic bills-rent,power,food,water) I would wait it out for 2 more months and use the time to look for another job. Then when 2 months(which would be ur 90 days) is up, speak to them about the fact that you arent even making minimum wage. Speaking of which how r u getting paid. Is it under the table or are there taxes being taken out of your pay checks? I dont know, a job is a job. Sometimes it sucks and it isnt fair but try saying that to a homeless person or to a kis who hasnt eaten in two days. The other thing to consider is maybe that is all they can afford to pay u. Maybe its not that they dont want to, they just cant kuz they dont have it. Are they good people? Is their home friendly and do you like the baby? Is it possible u are getting something valuable from it, it just comes in a different form?
