I am fourteen and I have been bedwetting for as long as I can remember. I feel like I have tried EVERYTHING. No matter what, I am still wet. I wet just about every other night if not every night. I cut my fluids off at 6 or so, I stay up late to use the bathroom, I used to have a alarm that didn't help. I use my watch to wake me up , but then somehow I am still wet and I think that might happen around 3 or so in the morning. I used to use pull ups but they made me uncomfortable and usually still leaked anyways, not to mention I don't have money to pay for refills. I used to take a medicine that didn't help, no matter how long I tried with it. I even have one of my parents wake be up when they go to bed. I have tried positive planning ( saying "you'll be dry in the morning") but still, NOTHING WORKS. I have even seen the doctor and I just don't know. It's gotten to the point where I'm just uncomfortable talking about it. It's like my body does it just for the fun of it and it makes me SO mad. Sometimes I am dry for a week and then I'm wet, suddenly, again. It's worse enough that my mom thinks that I choose to bed wet which I would do anything not to. I have vacations and a church camp soon and I need to make sure that I do not embarrass myself in front of a bunch of my peers. I will not wear pull ups in public because I feel they bulge out and also make noise. I could really use some advice at anything that I can do. Right now I am sleeping on the back of a deflated air mattress so that way when I wet it is less bedding to do rather than doing the sheets and blankets and the mattress pad, and then trying to protect the mattress itself. It is not the most comfortable thing either. Anyways I really need this to stop because I can not keep living like this especially with this stuff coming up. Help me please!?!

You need to read some books about nutrition so you know how to eat right. Magnesium strengthens muscles, calms nerves, stops cramps, and fights infections. Get epsom salt. It is cheap, five bux for a year's supply. Put a dose in a glass with water to cover and stir until it dissolves. Fill the glass with lemonade and drink it. You can take it without the lemonade but you won't like the taste. Milk of magnesia is more expensive but nicer tasting and gentler laxative action. Your choice.
Hi. Are you a boy or girl? Sorry to hear about your problem. I 've read that this is usually more of a problem for boys but since I don't know. I would go to a different doctor. You ummm have never been hurt or abused have you? Sorry to ask. But that sometimes can cause trauma. My brother wet the bed for a long time too. I felt bad for him cause he never wanted to sleep over at anyone's house. I'd tell my parents that I wanted to go to another doctor and get some different kind of medication.
