Go to the library and ask the librarian to help you find some material. You are only going to find anecdotal material, such as reading a whole novel to pick out one detail. There may be some etiquette books from that period. You have a lot of reading to write anything on this topic.
In the late 1920's in America in a small City most everyone had the Flu except one family. So The Doctor went to see the family not sick with the Flu. The man of the house showed him a large onion in each room of the home. He said it extracts bacteria from each room. The Doctor took one with him to his laboratory. He cut it open & put in under his Microscope & found the large Onion had bacteria on its leaves. He then went out & bought 50 bags of large onion's & put one in each home of those with the Flu. 2 weeks later the Flu was gone The Epidemic was at an end. He told everyone to change the large onion out every 28 days. This is a true story of what happened in 1929 in a small city in America. Now one more buy a stack of paper bowls & put the onion in a paper bowl & I havent had one day of sickness in over 27 years. Mike
Gender-based violence was widespread in northern Uganda. Women and girls living in conflict or post-conflict settings were particularly vulnerable to gender-based violence, a major cause of morbidity and mortality, as well as unintended pregnancy. Violence rooted in gender inequality was compounded by notions of masculinity, including the need to dominate women. You may actually order the paper from the service I use all the time. Gender Roles:
Gender roles peg a set of social and behavioral beliefs/practices that are perceived as appropriate
to individuals of a particular sexual orientation. They are generally universal even in the context
of a single country with an element of the historical and cultural contingent. There are numerous
factors that trigger the existence of Gender roles which include the environmental conditions, the
process of norms, values, beliefs and behaviors transfer to a group of members in the process of
learning on how to behave as a male or female. Nevertheless, the contemporary world practice in
a comprehensive integration model of the gender roles is actively evident in women
empowerment through education, professional achievement and family roles/contributions.
