... The property that I am occupying has 4 tenants. One of the tenants is the sub-landlord. The sub landlord has been bringing her boyfriend over and he smokes in the house. Our contract clearly states no smoking in the house. The sub landlord lied about the total amount it cost to rent the property. It turns out we have been paying for part of her rent because she claims that she takes care of the house. Is there a way to break the lease without having to pay the rest of the lease?
