... my school, but I occasionally get approached by guys while I'm at work. In the past year I have had 3 men i was still getting to know tell me that they need to "figure things out" and fall completely off the grid. This has happened after they have approached me in the first place, and we have been on dates. What am I doing wrong? What does figuring it out even mean to a male? Am I the only female that this happens to? Is there any way I can prevent this? I dont think I came on as too needy, and all of these men were at least two years my senior. How can I not scare them away when they personally hang out with me?

Things happen and it is better to know early that they are not that into you than later on. It is called dating for a reason - to figure out if that person is for you. It's a process which I totally hate BUT. I am sure you will find someone for you soon and yes, relax, have fun on the dates and enjoy them for what they are "Dates".
