No, it depends on what state you're in. Simply being able to own a gun and drive does not necessarily allow you to go hunting. Usually (virtually always) a seperate license is needed and there may also be restrictions on the type of animal you can hunt. Ask at your local gun club and they will be able to give you information on getting a hunting license.
