Honestly, I think that braces make people more attractive. Go for the colored ones if you want, and don't let other people make fun of you, be proud of your decision and don't let others opinions bring you down.
Nobody makes fun of braces. I assume you mean dental braces. I have never seen colors, but I have heard of clear. The silvery braces are just fine. I always thought they looked like somebody loved the person wearing them.
