I text this guy A LOT but I don't know if he likes me or not. One of the biggest problems is that my best friend likes him.... He talks to me about guns sometimes but I have know idea what he's talking about!
Another problem is that he told me that he liked my friend and i don't know how to respond to him when he says that!
So I am also the tallest girl in the 5th grade and taller than some 6th graders! Urggg!

Hun, please pay attention to what im about to say. I know being a adult and all the perks of acting mature sounds fun, but its deffinetly not. Alcohol seems fun untill your barfing and feel horrible. Drugs seem cool untill your rushed to the hospital. Sex seems great untill you have a baby to deal with.
Boys are just a pain, and the ONLY thing they care about is appearence, espicially at your age. Please dont try to grow up too fast, i PROMISE you you'll regret it. Dont even TOUCH makeup untill grade 8.
All those things i listed will hurt those around you, and yourself. Wait untill your TRULY ready for it. If you ever have questions of life, or need advice, even for boys or drugs or anything in between, email me, i've been through everything your about to go through, and im a great listener.
Hey hey, okay so you like him.. Have you ever asked him how he feels about you??? The thing is if he likes your bff and she likes him back you have to move on, you can't ruin something they have!! You don't necessarily have to respond when he tells you he likes you bff, but you could say what if I liked you(this) will give him hints on how you feel about him! But also don't take him away from your bff till she's over him and doesn't like him anymore, wait a little bit!! There's no problem with being tall I'm 12 and I'm taller than ALL the guys I date even a 14 year old.. So its okay, be proud and happy that you're different!! Ps, xoxo
I am a fifth grade boy and if you are pretty and nice, then he probably likes you too because I know I sorta like, like, all the girls who are pretty and nice (the ones I know at least) I do like some a lot more than others though so see if he ever looks at you or follows you if he does, he almost definitely likes you.
Oh also lay off the texting cause it probably gets annoying and try to learn about what he likes
