We used to chat online very other night. When we met in person, we would talk on and on, making tons of inside jokes all the way. She'd laugh at all my bad puns and small slip-ups. And aside from that, there was always that little something that mad it feel more special. But I messed it up one night.
She was teasing me about some other person I used to like, and so I made a little joke about her being jealous. After that, the playful talk turned to curt talk, and she would keep avoiding me.
I've apologized more times than you can count on a crowd's hands. I tried to make it a little more personal by writing an apology letter with a small flower on her desk. It still didn't seem to work, as the friendship never did come back.
I just don't know what to do. I really do still like her, but I'm in a really bad spot. Any help?
