Hydraulic - I have a 3 position valve driving a tractor tilt system. If I tilt right I have 1400?

Details:

... psi and 0 psi on the return. If I tilt left I have 2200 psi and 400 psi on the return line. Does the cylinder rod 1.125 make this much difference in the pressure requirement? Piston is 2.5 inch diameter
