2 months ago, I was playing soccer and sprained my ankle pretty bad (I think it was a high ankle sprain, but i don't remember). I played for about another minute, realized something was wrong and came off the field. Initially, the pain wasn't unbearable but still fairly uncomfortable and now it continues slightly hurting. I've been training a good amount for the fall season (I'm a hurdler) but I have stayed away from hurdles. I'm very concerned for my career because I still can't land on my foot without a good deal of pain, otherwise it's fine. My questions are - Is it safe to hurdle in a week or two? (I have appointments with a trainer) and how much longer should this take to heal.
