How to treat acne?

Each individual is unique. Thus, acne treatment differs for every person. A dermatologist prescribes the regimes based on the individual skin type that include addressing the root causes of acne and devising ways to reduce excess oil secretion, skin exfoliation, reduce the severity of acne and sometimes prescribing hormonal medications if unavoidable.
Acne can differ greatly person to person. The one thing that's the same though: wash your face. Don't use regular soap, that'll make you miserable. Get an actual acne wash, preferably one with 2% salycillic acid. If that doesn't start to clear you up within a couple of weeks, then you should go into your doctor. Hope this helps!
