So I have this cat who is incredibly social and sweet with all but one thing: She love bites REALLY hard, it was manageable for a while because she didn't used to bite so hard, and i can tell their loving because she purrs rubs against you and then bites. But sitting here now with a bleeding ankle and swollen hand from spilling molten coffee everywhere, I'm realizing this is starting to get way out of control.
Things I've tried:
- spray bottle
- "time outs"
- hissing (the hissing thing worked for a while, but now it just infuriates her and makes her bite harder
- I am not at all a fan of the idea of hitting her, ive kind of pushed her away from my ankle with my feet but nothing hard.
I'm starting to feel like I have no options but I really don't want to get rid of her, other than this she's a really great cat. Any ideas?
Yeah, I've tried this many times. She listens better to the hissing sound much more than a firm no. No doesn't really seem to effect her in the slightest. Talking to the vet is a good idea though, thanks:]
