I understand that there are certain types of shampoos with oils that will kill lice is that true and if so what kind I'm a truck driver and I don't have someone to call my hair out every night

We have had luck with shampoo & tea tree oil. This is then followed with regular thorough combing through (with shampoo still in your hair) with a fine nit comb. This way they cannot grip the hair & can be easily spotted when you wipe the comb every time off on to a piece of kitchen roll.
This is then repeated every night until you are clear of nits & eggs
It is also important to wash bedding especially pillows & not share bath towels.
It is also advised to check a week later just in case
