I'm a more straightforward, direct, immediate kind of person while my girlfriend is a more passive, indirect, slow and needs a lot of time and patience kind of person. How should we solve conflicts? Cos I'll get frustrated with her slow and needing time and she will get frustrated with me wanting to be immediate and fast/ impatient.
How to resolve conflict between 2 different personality types?

I've been taught to practice your partner's "language" while staying with your communication style. As a quick responder, ask for some form of definite time to return to conversation you both agree upon and then record what you desire to say via audio, video, written, artistically portrayed, or any medium which documents your current emotions, mood, and topics of conversation for continuation.
As a delayed responder, agree on a definite time to return to the conversation which allows for a reduction of overwhelm or an ability to have answers and questions formulated.
Practicing helps to identify how best to coordinate this communication and the mutual respect creates emotional trust between you which can strengthen any relationship so long as the trust remains unbroken. Once one breaks this built trust it might be time to consider individualism rather than codependence as one person is having their trust marginalized and the other is marginalizing a person's emotional security for their own benefit - in otherwords selfishness and exploitation. Please be cautious with another person and their trust - once broken the pain can never be removed, it has occured.
