I recently did a sti swap on my wrx sedan, and due to me upgrading to brembo brakes, I noticed that my stock wheels no longer fit on my car. So as a result I needed to get bigger wheels but I am a little low on my money so I brought my friends used wheels for about $350 dollars. Its R18 45 255, so its pretty huge compared to the R16 45 215 or whatever. The problem comes from when I turn the steering wheel all the way to the left, I barely have a inch of room from the tire to the fender in the inside of the wheel hub. I am afraid that when I put all four on there, and drive for a little bit. That I hit a bump which in return will rub severely and possible cause a tire bust. I am trying to prevent this, but I don't want to spend yet another $1,000 dollars to do body work on the car. I like to lift my car up some, to accommodate this issue but all I can find are lowering kits. And my wheels are already a offset so what else can I do to fix this problem?
