I have changed my skype multiple times, and somehow my friend is still able to find my IP! I looked at my old skype's & they cannot be traced back, however my current one can?

You don't need to change your skype id. Follow the below steps and he won't be able to trace your IP again.
1. Open Skype > tools > options.
2. Click on Advanced > Connection.
3. Uncheck all the options, but check-mark on this one: Available direct connections to your contacts only.
4. Do the same if you're using Skype on your iOS or Android.
5. Now ask him to trace your IP. He'd not be able to trace your IP this time.
You can also apply the same trick back to him, if he's trying to be more tricky then you'd not? :D
