It'll be the first of its kind in the area. A non-alcoholic music lounge (the non-alcoholic part ain't my decision, really) in an Arabic, Muslim country. I have awesome ideas for it. I already came up with a name and a logo, several possible floorplans, menus.. etc. I'm not sure what it's called; but it's pretty much a lounge where there's live music. I have a million questions regarding this;
what's it "supposed" to be like? How does it work? Do I audition bands? Do I recruit them? Do I make flyers? On what basis do I hire them? For how long? How many bands/performances a night? How do I pay them? How do I get paid?
There's a cultural obstacle, too. Even though it's getting better, places around here usually have family & "singles" or men sections. How do I go about this?
I've come up with themes or day-by-day events where every day of the week is a different theme or genre. I think I'm keeping my menu short; more specialty drinks and snacks (either in-house cooking, or my friend's cafe's food).
Do I build a bar although there won't be any alcohol served (any time soon, at least)? Should I serve actual food like dinner and lunch?
I also want to turn the lounge into a music tutoring center in the morning/afternoon. Performances start at around 6pm.

Open for ideas, would appreciate it
