Okay, so I've had acne for the longest time, I just feel like its a part of my life and that I've had it forever. I'm 13, I know that's young and I have a lot of life left and that ill have acne until I'm twenty blah blah all that. Acne has completely lowered my self esteem and makes me so self conscious of myself. I can't even look someone in the eye without worrying that my acne is going to make them not like me. I HATTEE IT, and I hate myself because of it! Anyways. PLEASE I need help. Tips, things to do, anything. I don't want to take meds or use some expensive treatment. Please, natural things. Thank you very much :/

Only three things are known for sure about acne:
1. Only humans get it.
2. The only cure is to outgrow it.
3. #2 is not very reliable.

Acne might be caused by vitamin A deficiency. It's not certain because it takes about six months to figure it out. Vitamin A overdose is possible, but it's ok to take beta-carotene which the body can turn into vitamin A as it needs it. It's cheap so there is no reason not to take it.
Study some books about nutrition so you know these things. Doctors will not tell you because they have no such training.

Hi honey. For one, don't hate yourself for your acne. Yes, it is a part of your life, for many more years to come.
1. Don't touch your acne, that will bother it and can cause dirt and germs to get into your pores.
2. DO NOT Poke, squeeze, pop, or pick at your pimples. Just, don't.
2. WASH your face at least two times a day.
3. Drink lots of water, and eat a steady diet. Avoid sweets.
4. Patience. It will go away when you jump out of puberty. You're only 13. Some adults even still have it...just don't worry.
You are your worst critic. Others don't notice flaws as much as you do abt yourself.
You'll live, sweetie.
:-)
GL.
Thank you :)
Try and wash your face with a facial wash/scrub that contains salicylic acid (check on the ingredient list). Use it every day. Afterwards you can use a benzoyl peroxide cream, that will dry the skin so it's not as oily. That will really help. But be aware, that benzoyl peroxide bleaches towels and bedclothes, so just use white washers and towels on your face when you dry it and a white pillow case.
Also eat good food rich with vitamins and minerals and stay away from processed burgers/pizza/sweets and so on as much as possible. :-)
Alright, thank you. I appreciate it, really. I'll check that stuff out.
