I grew up in Korea from the age of 2 until I was almost 8. I have lived in the US for 11 years and I still have my accent or I at least do not pronounce words correctly. I want to get rid of my accent since some people have a hard time understanding me and also others do not take me seriously. So I just want some advice on what to do.

Somewhere near you is a community college. Take acting classes and concentrate on vocal skills, such as story telling. You can find lots of story tellers on youtube and copy them.
