I am a twelve year old boy and I need to know how to get into shape for football I am going to be going into 8th grade football. I need to know stuff like lifting strategies (I can lift 25 pounds in reps of 10) and any info on how to get in shape and be stronger I play MLB and HB Thanks.

You gotta be very commited to lifting weights, but anyways the best way to best way to be the best is to train upper body and lower body and have a strong core. Your gonna wanna have a good sense of balance and awareness, Sprinting and running around things going backward and forward is always a good way to train for football. Running backs need to have a good sense of balance and speed and smarts to know which way is the best way to run, and for a linebacker you need to have good strength and no fear of pain or fear of big people.
