How to get disc out of case with damaging it?

Its very hard to get discs out of Dexter season 1 case. Because of me struggling to get them out it freezes for 3 sec on each disc.

You press the center of the DVD case and it'll just pop right up, you don't lift it up by the edge of the disc and lever it out. FYI if the disc is freezing then the disc was screwed before you bought it, nearly all modern DVD players (PC, PS or direct) can easily read through any small marks on the playing surface that may arise through general use.

Never had this problem and never even come close to breaking one. Press your thumb down in the middle of the disc, on the plastic pressure holder, and at the same time lift any outer edge of the disc with your index or middle finger.
