Last week, i was diagnosed with a uti. My doctor prescribed me antibiotics, but i don't want to take it for the side effects really scared me. Is there anyone cured by herbal medicine? Any advice is grateful. Thanks.

I advice you to take it as directed by your doctor, don't fear the side effects because they rarely occur. Drink plenty of water, try to urinate every hour or less and avoid things that irritate your bladder like coffee, lemon.
I skipped antibiotics myself and end up with narrowing in my urethra due to the UTI. which you don't want it happen to you.
Follow your doctor's instructions and also study some books about nutrition so you know how to eat right. Magnesium strengthens muscles, calms nerves, stops cramps, and fights infections. Get epsom salt. It is cheap, five bux for a year's supply. Put a dose in a glass with water to cover and stir until it dissolves. Fill the glass with lemonade and drink it. You can take it without the lemonade but you won't like the taste. Milk of magnesia is more expensive but nicer tasting and gentler laxative action. Your choice. Vitamin C helps all processes in the body. Most Americans don't get enough of these two, so just because you are American you need to learn a few things and start taking care of yourself. Your doctor will not tell you these things because they are outside his training.
Go to google.com and type the name of your prescription medication (or any medicine) in the box. That will get you links to all knowledge about it. You can narrow the search by adding "side effects" to the name. You should do that for any medication you take, especially prescriptions.
Thank you so much! I found a herbal medicine and i will give it a try. I will also do as what you told me so.
Thank you! A friend recommended me a herbal medicine called Diuretic and Anti-inflammatory Pill, she said it can help. I decided to have a try. I will update if it really helps.
