I've looked it up, but all of the methods don't work. I don't really have any sad memories to go back on, and the few that I do have are really minor and aren't strong at all, like leaving elementary. Remembering family deaths is not an option either because almost all my family lives on another continent and I see them about once every two years, depending on money, so we're not very close. Whenever I try to make my eyes water by staring, they blink anyway, even while holding my eyelids open. I don't cry at all in my everyday life. Not while hurt, not while angry, not even while sad. It's really frustrating, but I need this skill for my acting class.

It sometimes helps if you eat some really spicy food right before. When I fake cry it sometimes helps if I make a face similar to the face i make when i am really crying. If you think of something terrible that didn't happen to you and think of what could've happen to you also helps. Also if your acting for a very sad part make it feel like you are that person.
