I’m trying to go through 19,014 photos on my iPhone 8 and I’ve tried selecting all of the photos in the “screenshots” section and pressed “delete all” but then when I went back to the trash, it didn’t delete the selected screenshots (12,400). I’m completely out of storage space, and I’m going to a special event on July 9 and I need to make more room on my phone to take pics and videos that I can keep forever but my phone is so slow and so old that it’s not deleting the photos and videos I’ve selected. What’s the fastest, most reliable way to create effective storage space on my phone before July 9? Any tips would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Hey Zikomo. I would try deleting about 50 photos at a time, then going to your trash bin and clearing it out. Check your messages for photos and videos that people have sent you or that you've sent to them and consider deleting those. Go through your cache and cookies on the websites you've visited and consider deleting unused apps and files. It might take a while for your phone to cooperate since it sounds like you're using an older version of the iPhone, but gradually you'll get more storage again. I hope this helps!
