I have quite a lot of acne on my chest, and I tried using the cleanser that I use on my face, on my chest. Only I felt that the 'rubbing' action (as I put it on) made it worse. Also I didn't know if I should've moisturized afterwards? What is a good way to cleanse the chest area if you have acne?

There is acne medication called benzoyl peroxide, use this cleanser in the shower. Afterwards, apply tazorac and on top of that, apply clyndamicin phosphate cream. Use twice a day, once in the morning, and once at night before sleep. You should see changes in about 2-5 days. These are not over the counter medications. You will need a doctor's prescription. It is well worth to see a doctor for these medications.
Facial cleanser can work. But it will take much longer. Although it is expensive, you will not be disappointed. Go to your local dermatologist, and ask for any samples.
I didn’t have lemons so I used olive in its place on my pimples and it worked huge. Thank you for all the magnificent ideas. The toothpaste worked large on drying my pimples but i do not suggest it for people with responsive skin. O and the ice really took done the bulge on my pimples.
Are there perhaps any cheaper options? And what about just using my facial cleanser? Is that better than doing nothing?
