How to clean a ps2?

You take the PS2 and poen the part were you put the cd in and you clean that part if that dont work then maybe its some other part of the PS2

Use the (Dust Spray), It should be in wal-mart or sam or Whatever they got....when you got that...spray all over in ps2...make sure spray inside the front and back...If didn't work...ok...use bleach with napkin...wipe around the disk and your cd....good luck and hope your ps2 work!!!!!

You should check your game DVD, sometimes scratches can prevent the PS2 from reading it. Or you could use a vacuum cleaner to clean off the dust inside it (if it's dusty). The worst scenario would be that your PS2 lens needs to be replaced.

i can help u out just a tad bit.... turn your ps2 on with no disk and goto options and change the disk speed to fast and smooth ... this will help you just a bit... mayb try and goto either a eletrical store and find a laser cleaner.. or it could b the disk

How I clean the ps2. You need a p2 phillip screwdriver, a small phillip screwdriver, a cue tip (both ends), and isopropyl alcohol. This way will cancel the terms of use. But they ain't worried about them no more. Anyway, you unplug the ps2, turn it over to show the rubber stops, pull out the stops to expose the screws. Take the screws out. You should have 4 long and 4 short screws. Remember where they go. Take and turn the ps2 back over, then pull from the back on an angle till its off. Some ps2s have the power button on the case, some on the disk drive, so watch it. Then take the small phillip to the screws on the disk drive. Pull it off. Then use the cue tip in the alcohol, use the alcohol side on the lens in a circular motion. Then flip the cue tip to dry, repeat circular motion. Then put back together. Might be complicated, but it gets it cleaner then a cleaning disk.

Rub outward from the center lightly and gently. Do not rub with extreme force or this could damage the game further. Rub gently outward until the scratch either disappears or becomes less visible. Once clean and dry, put the disc in the gaming console and see if it worked
