How to Choose Project Topic ?

Responses (2)

Making a list of all the probable topics.

* Looking at the history of the project work already done.
* Concentrating on the new topics selected- whether you want to work on a completely new topic or select a topic on which already work has been done?
* After making the list of the probable topics, giving them a second look.
* The second look to the list can help to delete the topics that you may not be directly relevant to your course or may not be according to your requirements.
* Selecting a new or worked topic, and short listing at least five topics from the total list you have written down.
* Going through the five topics, and then searching for the sources for the five topics.
* Once the sources are selected, choose at least two topics for which you can get more reliable sources.
* Out of the two topics, choose the one that is comparatively easier, and also closer to your heart.
* It is always good to choose a project in which you have more interest because you will be able to develop the project in a better way, and also enjoy doing the project.
* Finally, choose the topic in which you are interested.
* Make a list of all the sources, and start going through the sources to develop the project.
* Make a list of all the other things you may need to complete the project, such as statistical details, government permissions, research work, and any kind of surveys and experiments.
* Once all these things are ready, finalize the topic and start working on the project.

It is your teacher's job to help you pick a topic appropriate to your level.
