I am an overthinker, plus i have a destruvtive pattern of thinking sometimes(it's becoming chronic). How can i change my pattern of thinking to another one i want to have ?

You can try Luminosity.com or you can try and think differently by putting obstacles for yourself.
Examples if you second guess yourself then just go with your gut (you can take a test online)
Or if you over think a question then just try not to (take a test online a silly one perhaps)
You can also trying guessing, if you arnt a guesser, on a question and see how it goes and you will feel perhaps different.
The only way to change such a pattern of thinking and to control the mind is to realize that the mind is our biggest enemy. Kill the mind before the mind kills you. The mind is a rascal, it's like a monkey, it keeps jumping from thought to thought. We think the mind is the king, it is everything, when in reality, it is the one who makes us suffer. How do we stop this, how do we change? By accepting that our mind is a monkey. By making the monkey into a monk, silencing the mind. Don't let the mind continue its jumping business from thought to thought. The mind thinks about fifty thoughts a minute - stop this, practice silence and this will convert the monkey into the monk. How do you convert from negative to positive thinking? By activating the intellect. The intellect is a different domain, it is not the same as the mind. It discriminates thoughts, it helps us choose what is black and white, what is wrong and right. Use the intellect to discipline the mind and silence the mind.
