Ok so this year a new girl moved to town and we became friends nearly instantly. She's funny, nice, we both have TONS in common, and i'm falling for her. I can't get her out of my head and the weekend kills me because I can't see her (she lives on the other side of town). The problem is, I think she's straight. How could I let her know i'm gay and should I tell her I like her too?

Well I'm not lesbian but I have Plenty of friends that are. So what one of them would do is always comment on how pretty the girl is or jokingly be like oh you like me or just stuff like that. She knew how to play it well and if she's not lesbian then she would just be like damn are you sure? And just mess around with her. I think she would still be your friend if she wasn't lesbian. Or just tell her that you are lesbian and see what she says or ask her who she likes. Sorry I'm not lesbian so I can't give the greatest advice cause I've never had to do that but I hope all goes well for you!
First tell her casually that you are a lesbian. Don't be shy about it but just subtly tell her. Look at her reaction see if she acts awkward, what her facial expression is, listen to her if she says anything. You could make a decision then and there to tell her you like her or decide not too. OR get gutsy and tell her she's beautiful. What have you got to loose, we only live once! Enjoy it.
Don't tell people what they can and cannot do or what they should or shouldn't do it is not your place
Some people do not like the other gender. I'm gay, and girls just aren't attractive to me. We all have our own opinions, and don't have to follow yours.
