How much would you charge per hour to play an instrument in a restaurant?

Someone asked me to play my accordion in his restaurant and wanted to know how much I would charge. Does anyone have an idea how much I should charge? (I never did that before, so I don't really know).

Probably around $30 and hour. (as long as your at least fairly good).

If your music is fairly good you would start at about $250 a night. Be sure your contract specifies break times so you can pee and get a drink occasionally.
