We do not want to mess up centimeters with meters. So, let's convert cm to m:
90cm = 0.9m height (vertical garden? Well, if you like.)
460cm = 4.6m length
Area of one flower bed:
0.9m * 4.6m = 4.14m²
There are 40 beds. Area of 40 beds:
40 * 4.14m² = 165.6m²
30ml of weed killer will cover 20m² of land. We are to calculate to the nearest 10ml.
30/3 = 10ml will then cover 20/3 = 6.67m² land (rounded up from 6.666...)
165.6 / 6.67 = 24.82 doses at 10ml each.
That would be a total of 248.2ml.
Rounded to the nearest 10ml dose this sums up to:
250ml weed killer.
