I want to download this crappy "MOV to MP3" thing to make more dank-memish crap on my computer, I want to lower the chances of me getting an actual virus. Any way I can find out.

Depends on the operating system. For Windows 7, I believe 2GB RAM should suffice and probably 32GB of hard drive space. You can also use virustotal.com to scan suspicious files if you prefer to.
