I recently opened the back panel of my 1 year old smartphone. I was shocked to see lot of sweat inside the panel (I sweat a lot and used phone without headset). Some of the screws in the phone show signs of corrosion (whitish deposit on top). Also the sweat inside had a green tint suggesting involvement of copper. The phone is currently working fine and I am to make sure that not even a single drop of sweat will enter the phone in future. But the question here is, will the sweat that went inside the phone so far harm the phone in future? Or else, will the damage will stop once there is no more new sweat going inside? And the main question, if the sweat is to stay and cause further harm, how to remove it or how to reduce/stop the harm?
How much damage can sweat cause to a smartphone?

ok make sure none is on the circuit board of so take lint towel and pat it dry leave your phone apart long enough to dry out remove battery also some batterys have a water indicator it's white and usually turns red or pinkish if wet if it's white then that's a good sign but for corrosion may in the long run could lead to battery dying quickly but it also depends on the spots it's in and you can try putting phone in bag of rice
