what is the total number of satellites orbiting the Earth ? regardless of country of origin
it is really interesting there are about 1071 satellites orbiting the earth and apparently half of them where lunched by the United States.
NASA tracks everything in space bigger than your little finger. There are presently over 26,000 such objects. That sounds like a lot, but if they were all arranged around the equator they would be about a mile apart.
