How many people entered world war 2?

If it is the US military, you question, about 15 million. To calculate all nation's military, it's impossible, even if by level of participation. What about civilians? Nearly 100 million had direct involvement. Military factory workers, civilian volunteers, or those in the path of blitzkreig. 20 million died, and the number of military deaths were never calculated. I speak of course of the Soviet Union. What of the other 30 or40 different foreign nations, who each had differing levels of commitment. IMPOSSIBLE TO ANSWER. Neven an educated guess is possible without guidelines. Sorry. JJB
