I feel it necessary to add, I'm looking for a scholarly and not a liturgical answer, thanks.

None. It is rather dreary to have to keep answering this question. The communists have killed over a hundred million people in the 20th century to enforce atheism in their countries, far more than all religious wars in all of history. Here are actual numbers: www.nytimes.com/imagepages/2011/11/06/opinion/06atrocities_timeline.html?ref=sunday
Specifically about the Soviets: fee.org/articles/a-revolution-to-always-remember-but-never-celebrate/
So, your answer would be "zero". Thanks.
I did not say "zero". I referred you to someone else's estimates. There are always a few people who will twist facts to make it appear that Christians were responsible for something when they were not.
You gave me no answer to my question, and are confirming you are a troll.
Can't post links, but google up "How many people have been killed by Christians since Biblical times?". First result is a dizzyingly comprehensive list with ~20 book sources, has the sort of details & rough numbers you seem to seek, with the meticulousness of an obsessive individual.
Personally, I don't know for certain how much of history was fabricated or omitted over the course of time. Nevertheless, the excessive capacity for cruelty and indifference exhibited by more than a handful of humans inclines me more towards the side of statistical plausibility and disappointment than disbelief or astonishment.
That said, I beseech you not to use facts to justify belligerence. Education is intended as the means to improve oneself, avoiding the missteps of the past, not as a tool of domination. Prevarication and deceit achieve the same, all with dreadful efficacy.
Christians don't spread their gospel by killing people. They do it by teaching them to read. For example, Russia has an alphabet because Saint Cyril invented it so he could teach them to read the bible in their own language.
