Ok, I'm in the process of filtering my 10 gallon tank. I want the opinions of people to decide how many fish to put in the tank. Don't bug me about the whole "1 goldfish per 10 gallons" thing. I know for a fact that it doesn't make a very big difference, I've had 3 medium goldfish in there and they lived for years totally fine. So here are the choices:
~3 tiny goldfish,
~2 medium goldfish; or,
~1 enormous goldfish

Sorry, but goldfish should have 20 gallons of space per fish. That is only if they are fancy (double tailed- butterfly, fantail)! The single-tailed goldfish should have 40 gallons of space per fish. This does not mean anything, though. This is only if you want the goldfish to grow to it's maximum capacity, which I would think you would want.
