This can't really be answered. Every person is different and has different strength and will to live. Certainly a 90 year old woman with COPD and lung infection/pneumonia is very ill indeed.
That can't be determined. Everyone's immune system is different. At that age, weeks, maybe a few months. Even with the use of antibiotics, their immune systems are pretty well done.
