My nephew Anthony recently got stung by a bee this past week. It swelled up by a LOT, and it seemed like it wouldn’t go down. How long does it take for the swelling to decrease? Anthony is 5 years old.

Varies. Medical attention is required when symptoms are severe, swelling is around the eyes / joints / throat, exceeds 4 inches, doesn't subside or becomes discoloured, and possibly lasts longer than a week.
