I refer to wood pellet or biomass pellet.
In dry conditions pellets can be stored indefinitely. Attention: if pellets come into contact with water or damp they will expand and be destroyed.
So long as you keep them dry and cool.. virtually forever. The most important thing si to keep them from rotting and away from pests hence the "avoid damp and warmth" thing.
