Greek litho means "stone". The lithosphere is the ground. Sunlight warms ground and then the ground warms the air that touches it. This has nothing to do with global warming.
Global warming has been a thing since the American revolution, when the winter was so cold that soldiers ROLLED cannons across the Potomac River. It has been recognized since about 1940 that American farms were prosperous because of unusually warm weather, not because of fertilizers or machinery. Astronomers have also determined that all the planets have warmer than normal surfaces, so nobody on Earth has any responsibility for it.
