How knowledgeable are you of law and government practices?

Public (government) schools stopped teaching civics bit by bit in the first half of the 20th century. By the time I took the class (1955), it was reduced to a single sentence: "Cops can go anywhere and do anything." The average American is so uninformed that a judge will not allow him to speak for himself in court. We have such a murky legal system that there is an entire profession devoted to trying to understand it.
