How is science and god related?

For hundreds of years, science and God had no connection. Science and God were at loggerheads. They were always fighting with each other - science asked for proof and God, religion, spirituality denied proof and said that if proof is possible, then faith is impossible. However, recently, science and spirituality have synergy on one thing. They both agree that in essence we human beings are made up of energy. Science in its recent experiment realized that every cell of a human being in its smallest particle, not an atom, molecule, neutron, electron but smaller than that, the quark, which when observed under the microscope, transformed into am energy wave. Therefore, we human beings are nothing but energy. Spirituality also says that we are energy. Unfortunately, science has a different concept of believing who we are and they have to work towards the ultimate goal of realizing we are the Soul. But at least the good thing is they both believe we are energy.
