I'm writing a paper and the premise I have to argue is race, gender, ethnicity, religion and culture all determine what aspects of the world we see.

Well culture has a lot to do with it. For example the native americans see nature and believe that their ancestors are in it. Literally that they are apart of it. Their spirits flow through everything. But then you have other cultures such as the people from asia who view the animals as gods. Gender is probably the one i personally see as the one that makes the least difference. Religion is not as big of an influence as race and ethnicity but they all end up intertwining. it really just depends on the person. Thats what really makes the most difference. Two people who are identical in everything that you said can see the same tree and focus on two completely different things. Some people are more technical and others are more dreamers in a sense. It depends on what they are inside. What their heart is not what they've learned, have been born into, or taught. Of course this is just my opinion though :)
