How important is a phone in high school?

Details:

I don't have a phone and I'm a sophmore. I'm scared that people won't like me if I don't talk to them after school. Am I crazy?

Please remember that you are older than this cellphone fad. I got my first cellphone 15 years ago. Before that you had to go to a friend's house to talk to them. If you don't have friends, it's not because you don't have a phone. It's because they didn't want to get face to face to talk with anybody.

Take an acting class and work on story telling. Vocal ability will improve your life more than any other detail.

Not very.

I got my first phone before I started high school, but I rarely ever used it except for emergencies. In high school, I never used it.

If they're truly your friends, they probably won't care if you don't have a phone.
