How has globalisation helped Apple inc. to be where it is today?

By providing easy access to slave labour... only americans buy apple products in any significant quantity and using cheap overseas workforces enables them to maximise their profits and pay as little tax as possible.

Well, the products all say 'Designed in California, manufactured in China', so you can get a pretty good glimpse of it just from that. The cost of labor is much cheaper in China, so by manufacturing them there, it allows them to make more money. Also Jonathan Ive (basically the main designer of their iOS devices) is from England, so globalisation has had a pretty significant impact on Apple, I'd say.
