I plan on getting the cheapest Syber steam machine in 2 months so i was wondering, how good is it at running games (can it run games like dayz or gta 5 with smooth gameplay and if so, on what settings (even lowest would be fine for me as i'm more of a gameplay kind of person than graphics))
How good is the Syber Steam Machine I?

Edit:
Important Info:
1. most games i have on my wishlist support linux so i should be fine with that
2. PC building isn't really an option for me (i'm just heading over to PC gaming from Xbox gaming if that explains anything)
Also how long do you think the Syber Steam Machine I would work before breaking down?

Steam Machines run SteamOS, which is a Linux Distro. Many games do not run on Linux, yet, so Steam Machines wouldn't really be too great. If I were you, I'd research building your own PC. It's not the complicated, it's about 5-8 parts, pretty much, and is simply like legos. You'll also get better hardware for your money and have the honor of going around gloating to everyone that you built a PC.
Also (based off of google) about every game i have on my wishlist can run on linux so that shouldn't be a problem
I later decided to take your advice and just spent another couple months saving up on an actual computer.
I found a place where I can have my computer upgraded so i'm looking into that.
The problems with building a pc is;
1. i'm not that good when it comes to working on the inside of computers (i have played xbox until now) so i wouldn't know which parts are best to use
2. I have a low budget,(also my budget is around $500 so... steam machines are basically my only answer)
The problem with console you may ask;
I already have about (if not more than) 300 games for xbox 360 and pretty much every new xbox one game so i'd like to be able to gain access to more titles (with a familiar controller because the xbox controller is about the only controller i am good with (but i do have a usb keyboard & mouse if it is ever needed))
