How foreign does the name 'Istvan Voros' sound to you in the US?

Hi,

I am going to settle down in the US and am seriously considering changing my name as
1. It sounds very un-American to me.
2. I am tired of spelling my name every time I talk to somebody and paying attention to pronouncing it in a different way so people can understand it more easily.
3. I want to integrate in the society as much/quickly as possible.

I would be very thankful if a few US-born Americans could provide me with some feedback on their first impression when reading / saying my name out loud.

Tell people your name is Ivan. That is a familiar sound to everybody. They will assume you are Russian until you tell them something else.
