I have been fishing and the fishing rod has been tucked a few times but I want to know how fast to reel it in. And people have said fast or slow but how fast is fast.

Some people say slow because they don't want to wrestle with a fish that is not tired yet. Some say fast before the fish has a chance to throw the hook. I only caught one bass and you better believe I got him out of the water at top speed because I knew bass throw hooks.
